We understand that things often change and returns are sometimes requested. Our policy is that all sales are final but if you feel that you need special consideration in returning your purchased product, please reach out to us so that we can further discuss.
How long will it take to complete my project?
Each project is unique with varying services and materials. Some materials have to be special ordered and are subject to wholesale delays. Once we discuss your project and finalize the details, we can better give you a completion timeline.
How long does it take to process a standard material order?
Processing time for standard bar stock and sheet orders is 3-7 business days before shipping. For any rush orders or questions regarding expedited shipping costs and times please call us.
What can delay an orders processing time?
Specialty widths or wide belt grinding can add 1-2 business days to your processing time.
What are your shipping costs and options?
Shipping fees are based on weight, dimensions and destination. We try to calculate shipping based on what you order but sometimes may need to contact you to finalize shipping costs. We offer USPS for all lower 48 states with standard shipping times applying. We may use other carriers at our discretion for no additional charge. Any additional shipping expenses and charges that the customer will incur will be discussed with customer beforehand.
What is the best steel you have? What thickness is best?
It is all based on what you are comfortable with working with, your skillset, the types of grinds you are using, and the edge geometry you hope to have and plenty of other variables. We can offer an opinion, but the choice is in the maker’s hands.
Will you ever carry this material?
We get different alloy requests all the time. We are always working to add more grades and alloys to what we have available in house. We can also source and quote various alloys that are not listed on the site. You can email us suggestions or requests

Do you accept walk-in customers? What about pick-up orders?
We love having people come to visit and there’s always a variety of bar stock available. We ask that if you have a specific order in mind to please call in advance so we have time to process it. We will give you a return call and let you know when it is ready for pick-up.
